Chapter 1

We've managed to survive our first 'Realm'...I didn't expect it to be my Mentor's of all things, but we retrieved the core and met Imposter...apparently all he demands is 'loyalty' from us, anything else matters little to him. We've learned a lot since our time here, a bit more about this world and our duties and also about the Echo's.

Nali the counterpart of our Runali met us after we escaped the Temple, thanks to Runali asking just the right question...we found out who the Echo's are...they're us if we made deals with Imposter. It's honestly hard to swallow that I would ever do that, but the me I saw then...I could feel it, a difference. I want to meet her, to ask her why she made her choice...but that's impossible apparently.

That aside we also learned Facade is trying to learn just as much about us as we are it, and the more we learn about it, the more it learns about us. This has a chance of making our Realms harder to go through and will make our job more difficult. This...may be why Shay and the Echo's were trying to keep things from us...I don't know, either way we learned enough for Facade to learn more about us...I disliked it. It felt as if someone was trying to 'exit' me from the inside out, if this is going to happen each time we find out too much...is it worth it...no that's not the right mindset. We need to know more, Imposter may want us in the dark to control us better...but we lose by learning...and lose by ignorance...this world as Nali said is twisted.
